Mason Holland, one of our founders, has been our Executive Chairman and a member of our board of directors since our founding in June 2000. Mr. Holland is responsible for the coordination of strategic partnerships with industry leaders and client relations. Mr. Holland founded American Pensions, Inc. in 1988, serving as its Chairman and President from 1988 to 2003. Mr. Holland has also established a number of other business entities throughout his 30 plus year career, including establishing Holland Properties LLC, a real estate development firm, in 1989, and acquiring Eclipse Aerospace, Inc., a jet aircraft manufacturer, in May 2009, for which he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until April 2015. Mr. Holland attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Ray August is President and Chief Executive Officer of Benefitfocus (NASDAQ: BNFT). He leads a team of over 2,000 Benefitfocus associates who deliver technology innovation to the U.S. healthcare and benefits market. Ray joined Benefitfocus in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s operations, customer success and financial growth. He was promoted to President in April 2015. With more than 30 years of experience in technology, insurance, and banking, Ray is passionate about delivering world-class customer service and organizational excellence.

Accountable for defining and executing Benefitfocus’ strategic plan and improving results for Benefitfocus’ customers, Ray oversees a team of technology and benefits professionals who have cultivated the most influential customer community in the U.S. benefits industry.

Before joining Benefitfocus, Ray was President and General Manager for the $3 billion Financial Services division of CSC, a multi-billion dollar global IT firm (now DXC Technology). Prior to CSC, Ray served as the Group Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Great Plains Software (later acquired by Microsoft and rebranded as Microsoft Dynamics GP). He previously held a management consulting position at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ray is a member of the AICPA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina (USC). He is an avid USC Gamecocks fan.

Jonathon Dussault brings to Benefitfocus extensive strategic and financial leadership experience in the benefits technology sector. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Senior Finance Officer of WEX Health, Inc. (formerly Evolution1, Inc.), a leading provider of cloud-based Health Savings Account technology and payment solutions for the healthcare industry and a subsidiary of global payments processing company, WEX Inc. (NYSE: WEX). Prior to that, Mr. Dussault served in multiple roles at Evolution1, most recently as Chief Financial Officer, until its acquisition by WEX. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dussault was Vice President of Corporate Development at Women’s Health USA and was responsible for financial planning and analysis at Open Solutions, Inc. Mr. Dussault began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Babson College and earned his CPA certification in Massachusetts.

Jim Restivo joined Benefitfocus as Chief Technology Officer in January 2016. Mr. Restivo brings deep technical expertise to Benefitfocus with over 25 years of industry experience in leading cloud operations, product management, data analytics, information security and traditional R&D in large and mid-sized global firms with complex portfolios. Previously, Mr. Restivo served as Chief Technology Officer for numerous software companies including Dodge Data & Analytics, Inc., Kenexa Technologies and IBM. Mr. Restivo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University and Master of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jessica Brewer - Senior Vice President of Engineering and Global Services

Jessica Brewer is the Senior Vice President of Account Services, first establishing and now leading the entire lifecycle of the Benefitfocus Account Services practice. She previously served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Global Services, where she led the company's software engineering, business operations, infrastructure and application deployment teams. Jessica has over two decades of software industry experience, and since joining Benefitfocus in 2007, has been instrumental in advancing the Benefitfocus Platform through the use of innovative technologies. Jessica earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from the College of Charleston.

Robert Dahdah brings to Benefitfocus over 20 years of experience in the Software as a Service, human capital management technology, and payroll sectors. As Executive Vice President of Global Sales, he will be responsible for designing the company’s overall sales strategy and leading the company’s sales teams. Mr. Dahdah joins Benefitfocus from Verizon Telematics, Inc., one of the world’s largest SaaS IoT providers, where he served as Senior Vice President, Global Sales. Prior to that, Mr. Dahdah served in multiple roles at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADP), most recently as its Senior Vice President, Sales - Global Enterprise Solutions International, where he led sales and distribution for over 100 countries outside of the United States. During his tenure with the company he also led the global sales operations team. Mr. Dahdah holds a B.S. in marketing management from Syracuse University.

Annmarie Fini - Senior Vice President of Product Strategy

Annmarie Fini is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success for Benefitfocus. In this role she is responsible for the end-to-end customer experience across Professional Services, Configuration, Data Services, Customer Management, Benefits Service Center and the Benefitfocus University. As one of the first employees at Benefitfocus, Fini has been responsible for building and maintaining key client relationships, leading large client implementations and, most recently, Benefitfocus’ overall product strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in the health care and software industries, Fini is an expert in benefits, human resources and payroll, which provides a unique understanding of customer needs. Fini holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Ken Haderer is the Executive Vice President of Global Operations for Benefitfocus. In his role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence and accelerating Benefitfocus' platform strategy, scaling customer success best practices and facilitating expansion efforts. Prior to joining Benefitfocus, Mr. Haderer served as the Chief Operating Officer for Mercer before being appointed President of North America. He led more than 5,000 colleagues who provided consulting, broking and other professional services solutions to major U.S. and global employers. Mr. Haderer joined Mercer in May 2013 to lead the benefits administration business. Before joining Mercer, he was an Executive Vice President overseeing Aon Hewitt's Global Benefits Solution. Prior to that, he led Aon's benefits administration business and served on the Americas Executive Committee. His extensive customer service, technology and professional services background also includes Operations Leader at Mellon/PWC and various customer service and operational roles at Prudential and Verizon.

Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Debi Stafford is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Benefitfocus. She joined the company in May 2016 and leads cross organizational support teams of recruiting, HR operations, benefits and business partners. Prior to joining Benefitfocus, she worked for 24 years as the Global Vice President of Human Resources for CSC, headquartered in Falls Church, VA. In this role, she was responsible for associates and initiatives that spanned 33,000 people and 63 countries. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and sits on several boards related to Human Resources and serving global cultural needs.
