Peter is Senior Vice President (SVP) for Sales and Marketing at Benefitfocus. He joined the team in March 2019, applying his passion for revolutionizing industries through innovation in Social, Mobile, Cloud and Analytics every day. Living by the creed of Frederick The Great, “Audacity, audacity – always, audacity,” Peter boldly identifies critical business issues and ambitions as a means of unlocking our organization’s full potential. Roles & Responsibilities
Peter is responsible for implementing our growth agenda by leading a team that earns the right to serve in our markets. His experience as an accomplished executive in driving growth for technology and SaaS businesses, with an emphasis on digital forms of go-to-market, make him a nexus for value-creation for our organization.
Peter graduated from the University of Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science in computer science. Before joining Benefitfocus, Peter served in executive leadership positions with Iron Mountain, Alvarez & Marsal, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Data Dimensions and Information Services Group (ISG). He is certified by the UCLA Anderson School for Business as a Corporate Director. Peter had the unique opportunity to start his career as part of the team that built today’s Internet, forming a passion for network-based business models.
Hobbies & Interests
When Peter isn’t practicing his putt, he is a self-proclaimed foodie … in consumption and production. Though he lives in the Boston suburbs of New Hampshire, Peter enjoys convincing people that a crab cake from Maryland is far superior than a crab cake from just about anywhere else in the world. He’s not wrong.
