Benefitfocus to deliver streamlined benefits management to leading non-profit behavioral healthcare provider

Charleston, S.C. – October 3, 2014 – Benefitfocus, Inc. (NASDAQ: BNFT), a leading provider of cloud-based benefits software solutions, today announced that Centerstone of America, Inc. has selected the Benefitfocus HR INTOUCH MARKETPLACE® to support benefits enrollment, HR management and employee communication. Centerstone has formed one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit providers of community-based mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and addiction treatment services, with more than 2,600 employees and nearly 150 locations across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. HR INTOUCH MARKETPLACE allows Centerstone to consolidate benefits information for its whole workforce within a single online portal that is accessible from any web-enabled device, offering a more convenient way for employees to enroll and manage their benefits.

HR INTOUCH MARKETPLACE is designed to streamline administration of comprehensive benefits programs for geographically dispersed workforces by automating the exchange of benefits data with insurance carriers, payroll providers and other HR-related systems. The portal’s rules-based engine enables Centerstone to configure the enrollment workflow based on an individual’s eligibility so employees are presented the information and plan options that are most relevant to them. Also, Centerstone can leverage the portal’s event-driven messaging framework to send notifications to all employees or a defined segment of their workforce, reminding them to enroll in their benefits or complete other tasks associated with their benefits.

In addition, the Benefitfocus HR INTOUCH® Mobile App provides Centerstone employees on the go access to detailed benefits information throughout the year on their mobile devices.
