Andrew is the President at Benefitfocus. As an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience across the employee benefits space, Andrew became President in April 2023, bringing with him a distinguished track record of driving innovation and is a strong advocate for taking a customer-centric approach to serving clients and developing talent.
He most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Workplace Strategy and Solutions at Voya Financial, which acquired Benefitfocus in January 2023. At Voya, he was instrumental in advancing the company’s workplace strategy and product roadmap. He was a key driver of Voya’s entrance into the HSA/FSA business, and he has worked directly with carriers, brokers and some of the leading technology companies. Prior to that, he worked at ADP and then Mutual of Omaha.
Andrew graduated from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Physics, graduating as part of UNC’s Honors Program. When not working closely with his colleagues to advance Benefitfocus’ strategy and goals, he spends his free time with his wife and two boys, including staying active and coaching little league baseball.
