Pharmacy Procurement Program
Find out how much you could be saving on prescription costs.
Is your organization searching for ways to manage increasing prescription drug costs while still meeting employee needs? Stop searching and start saving with a comprehensive fiduciary pharmacy procurement program.
Through a strategic partnership with National Integrative Health (NIH), we can help employers effectively reduce costs for them and their employees.
The Challenge
Benefitfocus claims-based analysis has confirmed prescription costs are a primary driver of our clients’ health care spend.

By combining clinical oversight, rigorous auditing, and data-driven procurement, NIH strives to ensure employers and members receive safe, high-quality medications while minimizing unnecessary cost inflation. NIH supports full fiduciary transparency under the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA), and offers flexible sourcing pathways that remain stable even as tariffs, global pricing, and PBM practices continue to shift.

How It Works
National Integrative Health makes it easy to start saving.
Establish a managed services agreement with NIH as either the default fulfillment pathway, or as another pharmacy channel within your existing network. Then choose which medications to source and which sourcing channels to include: Domestic, International, Specialty or Retail.
Prescriptions are sent to NIH for fulfillment.
NIH sources the best “all-in” price from chosen channels.
Prescriptions shipped to members with no changes to therapy or drug formulation, clear communication and contact information, reliable fulfillment and delivery, clinical oversight for coordination on refills, timing, and dose management, and $0 out of pocket costs.
The Results
