Charleston, S.C., Jan. 25, 2024 — Benefitfocus, a benefits administration company committed to helping organizations and the people they serve get the most out of their health care and benefit programs, today announced Crystal Brown was named as Senior Vice President, Health Plan Business, effective January 1, 2024.
In this role, Crystal will be partnering with large, complex health plan organizations, their valued broker partners and ancillary benefit providers, to reduce administrative burden while enabling the selling, management and payment of a holistic benefit program strategy, ultimately expanding value to their customers.
Crystal is well-respected in the industry with more than 20 years of experience, leading large-scale strategic initiatives within a health plan across sales, operations, technology and provider networks. She has an extensive background having most recently served as Vice President at a local health plan leading customer journey transformation portfolios. During her time there, Crystal not only led the Benefitfocus solution implementation, but also served as executive sponsor, making her uniquely experienced to understand and deliver on the needs of our health plan clients.
